This paper is included in the PayPerView (PPV) service offered by ScienceDirect (Elsevier).
A fee will be charged (2,200 JPY [as of 2024]) each time a paper is viewed (accessed).
Expenses will be paid by the library's budget. However, the number of PPV articles is limited.

Please understand that operational changes may occur throughout the year, including review of users' eligibility.
1. Using PPV
After reading the free abstract, please use the system by entering your ID and password for the required document only.
A fee will be charged when the text is accessed. Please save the PDF of any paper you access to help us avoid duplication of access to identical papers. Please consult with staff if you need to use all chapters of an e-book, as we will consider purchasing the text through the library.

1 The system may only be used for educational and research purpose.
2 Documents may only be used by the individual who downloaded them.
3 There is a limit to the number of articles that can be accessed by PPV. In the interest of fair use, please refrain from heavy usage.
4 Please manage your ID appropriately, and refrain from engaging in inappropriate usage, such as by allowing others to use your ID.
5 If you lose your eligibility, such as by retiring or leaving your position, please notify the library at the earliest.
6 Use that contravenes any of the above 1 to 5 may result in the restriction of access for the user in question for the rest of the current academic year.
Moreover, usage may be also be restricted in the event that the use of PPV as a whole exceeds the budgeted amount.

Your usage method will depend on user classification.

(2) ILL:A service for obtaining copies of papers or other materials published in journals and books, not owned by the University, from other university libraries, etc. as copies (paper)
DDS:A service that asks vendors for articles and other materials published in journals and books issued by overseas publishers and not owned by the University. Copies are obtained in PDF format
